Richard it's kind of hard to tell but is this wire just a dead end single insulated wire coming from the radio/Mp3 player box?
If so then it's the radio antenna.

i agree with Jr it hard to tell but i will say antenna wire and it does not hook to anything

The remote start/alarm system also uses the same style "antenna".
