I was about 1/2 mile from work this morning when in the middle of a corner my headlights went out....What a thrill!!! No headlights or tail light; brake light and turn signals work. Starts fine. Wire came off of something???

Finally had time to check some of the other posts regarding headlights. Now all I need to do is drive it home this afternoon after work and hope I don't get ran over with no headlights or tail lights.

You got it, the headlight and tail light circuit is on the same wire and feeds right off of the R/R so you got a wire come loose in this area I'm betting.

Finally had time to work on the Tank today. Took all of two minutes to fix the problem. Apparently when I replaced the motor I didn't fully seat one of the connector plugs on the hardness. Plugged back to together and 'Voila', headlights work again. While I was at it I taped all connectors just to prevent another issue down the road.

FANTASTIC!! I like those kinds of problems where you go and take a look see and spot the problem right off the bat and a easy fix to boot. Great find Alleyoop
