Are those engine mount bushings hard to remove?

Long story short others have had this issue and even if you order the engine bracket it comes with no bushings. Why don't ask me? Most people take it off and either fabricate their own or go to a machine shop and have some made from various materials that will hold up.
Myself if they ever go bad on me I plan on inserting brass bushings and installing a grease sert to keep them lubricated to solve this problem.

First of all these bushings which are actually called vibration mounts are pressed in tightly and even the tool that was suggested will probably not work There are two of them in the bracket and it's about 7" long if I remember right? scooterdoc.proboards.com/index.cgi?board=250cc&action=display&thread=6801They are extremely tight and I've removed them two ways. The first one is the easiest and I have friends at a fab/machine shop and I used their hydraulic press. Didn't damage the bracket and also got them removed intact so we could see how to measure for them. It's been a long time ago and I thought I wrote down the OD/ID of them but I can't find my notes but the ID I know is 10mm because that is the long bolt size that goes thropugh there. I want to say the OD was 24 or 25mm just can't remember. Also there are lots of companies to order good quality bushings from and this is just one of them: .avproductsinc.com/Bushings.html" rel="nofollow" target="_blank">.avproductsinc.com/Bushings.htmlSince the bracket has two vibration bushings on the top mount is why I will use a brass bushings myself on this one but with good rubber type bushings it'll work just fine. Removing with a long all thread type bolt like suggested won't work but if greased well will work to insert them if you've got a good vise to hold the bracket. Again these are pressed in very tightly and have a type glue of some sort too, only the Chinese would know. My wife also has the 07 JCL and they are solid so far but I'm watching them and you got to remember even thought you bought a new scooter it has been in the crate for 5 years and Chinese rubber isn't quality any way so you have that and 5 years old and it sometimes isn't good. The other way will work but is messy and that's take a cutting torch and burning them out. Then you got to clean and re-paint the swing arm bracket. JR

other than a bad carb from the get go i got no complaints about the scooter i drive it like it is, but that feeling going around the corners is a little unnerving. ill keep driving it this way i guess since looking at it the backend wont fall of anytime soon
