I've tried everything to fix the air leak between the tire and the rim on the front tire of the scoot. Now it's time to put a tube in the tire. Can anyone give me a tube size for a standard front wheel for a 13 inch wheel ?

Is it the tire or rim or air stem? Might make a difference in responders answers.
If rim is OK at sealing area then next point.
If rim is OK then check the tire for flaws on sealing area.
If rim and tire are OK at sealing areas then check the stem.
If stem is OK then possibly a tube would do the job. Not sure though as tubes also have problems of their own. .

Bob, I'm a firm believer in soap and water. Tire meets rim is where the leak is blowing little bubbles . Not just in one spot but all around the rim . I'm just wondering if it wasn't the dyna beads that I used the last time I changed a tire. That is why I was going to put a tube in. Everything else is fine , no leaks just one side of the front tire.

If it did not leak before it may be some thing you did. If it was me I would take the tire off the rim and clean the rim and tire bead and make sure you have lubed the bead before reseating it. If it is leaking all over on one side at the bead it surely is not a rim crack or problem. If it is an OEM tire get rid of it and put a decent tire on. You could take it to a tire shop that deals with that sort of thing. one that deals with lawn equipment would be able to seat the bead for you.

I took the tire and rim to a cycle shop and let them fix the tire. They tried several times to get the tire to seal against the rim but said that it leaked air and they couldn't fix it without putting a tube in it. Cost me $ 30.00 but it's holding air just fine. I know, I know , get out the tire tools and replace the tire. I'm going to wait till next year to do that. I forgot to ask for the tube size but I'll see that when I change the tire. Thanks for all the help on this one it really had me stumped.

Hello.. I think, you have to call the company and tell the size of your tire only then they recommend you the tube size.. Thanks. __________________________
