I know you are all dying of the heat in the US at the moment but something extremely rare happened here in Johannesburg SA.
We experienced a strong cold front and yesterday a very rare thing happened in that it snowed in Joburg. The whole day it sort of wanted to snow but it didn't really happen until I left work at 14h00. A strong snow blizzard started and something that might never repeat itself again is the fact that i drove the 1.5 miles home in snow straight from the front. I had to wipe my vizor many times and the front screen was completely covered in the white stuff. The snow didn't last long, maybe 30min and in about two hours all traces of snow was gone. What a lovely but cold experience that was.
