The clutch sheave had a very poor weld job on it, as you can see by the pictures. We suggested a new belt to the owner since he told us the bike has about 8-9k on it, but his theory is "if it aint broke, don't fix it". Everything looked good in the rear end, when test riding it, I was shocked at the get up and go the little bugger has!! It rivals my 250B on get up and go. ;

We got the part for $63 including shipping, thank you tvnacman! We charged 1 hour for labor, so that was another $60 for a total of $123. What do you guys think? Did we treat him fair?

I should say that this owner is an "old school" mechanic. He knows enough to be dangerous, his words not mine. LOL He went through the bike, did all the fluid changes and PDI himself when he bought the bike a few months ago. He had no issues with the bike until he noticed the "gravel" sound in the rear end. He doesn't have much money to put into the scoot, but loves it none the less, so we'll do what we can to keep him running.
