Welcome to the forum Jackie007. Now are the female version of bond007? OK tell me what brand and model of 50cc scooter you have and we'll figure it out. Some alarm systems is just a matter of unplugging and that's it but some need a jumper wire, either way we'll get it done. Hope the weather is pretty on the other side of the pond and if you're getting any rain then send it my way! JR

Ok Jackie here is a picture of a hangalong I found and it looks like one of the typical Chinese models around; Now I'm going to move this post to the 50cc section so we can fix this scooter. JR

So let me ask you, do you have some of the plastics off the scooter where you can access the plug to the remote? If so then can you tell me the colors of the wires on this plug or even send a picture with the colors. If it's the typical Chinese harness then I can tell you what you need to do but I've got to have this information.
Also can you look at the manufacturer tag and tell me who makes this scooter and the tag may have a model number also and one last question, do you have a manual with it and does it have a wiring diagram?

Did some research and this scooter like a lot of Chinese scooters has little or no manual or wiring diagram support. Even if they include one with the scooter it's in what we call here Chinglish and is not much help. Your best bet to have any helpful information is to use our generic type manuals they have a lot of good helpful information and most gererally apply to a broad range of Chinese scooters. thescooterprofessor.proboards.com/index.cgi?board=misc&action=display&thread=752Now when you say indicators working I presume you're refering to the instrument cluster and the gauges? Over there when they say indicators they are usually referring to the turn signal lights I think.

unplug it, and if your kill switch/key switch doesn't kill the bike, short the pink and black/white wires together and see if it does then
