Hello everybody! My name is Justin, I'm 26, and from southern Maine. I've had a couple scooters in the past, this is my 3rd. Decided to stay away from bigger bikes, I seem to lack self control . I've owned everything from pit bikes to cruisers. My current scooter is a Vento Sauron 125. When I picked it up it was all stock with a hideous red metallic flake paint job. It had a great top speed of just over 62 mph (gps verified) After a month of being ragged on about the "awesome" paint job, I stripped it down and had the body panels painted platinum grey metallic (almost an exact match to Volkswagen gray). While I had the body off, I pulled the harness out and removed the factory alarm/remote start. I traced all the wiring from the alarm back to the splices in the harness and removed it there. While I had the loom cover off and the body panels off I decided to upgrade my horn too! Ran a new power wire through the factory loom cover for a clean look. I don't have any pics of the actual horn installed, guess I got caught in the moment putting everything back together. Came out good though, just enough room in the nose section to mount it with a small custom bracket. Mounted the relay where the factory alarm siren went. Soldered and shrink wrapped all connectors for a good tight seal. This is what it currently looks like (note the factory smoked turn signals). In the future I need to get rid of that joke of an exhaust, order some taller gears, and figure out what I want to do with the motor for extra power to turn the taller gearset. Also into cars, current cars are 2011 Kia Optima, 96 Blazer and a 92 Talon TSI AWD. You can see the Kia in the background a little. One last note if you are still reading, sorry if my spell check changes stuff and I don't catch it. I do 99% of my posting from my phone, including this one.

Thanks for the warm welcome! Welcome Justin , I hear BBK make scooters faster , they also help them break down faster too. Power is in the tyranny/CVT and carb. John Never said big bore kit. I'm thinking more along the lines of a cam with some light porting work, maybe deck the head a couple thousanths to bump up the compression. At the same time playing with fuel injection could be fun too!
