I have a oil leak that I have been trying to trace down. It shows up as if the cvt is leaking but with the rear wheel removed it seems to be from around the starter? I checked the oil ring seal on the starter and it seems fine and a "snug" fit.....hum....when I cleaned everything off it seems to come back from that area? 2 stroke oil as the engine has none...the resvoir is forward on this scoot and followed the feed line all looks good...any ideas?

Sorry Dennis didn't see this. What model and cc scooter is this? I'll see if I can get some info.

How about the Tranny Vent hose it is close to there and it could be squirting oil out the vent hose. Only other thing would be oil is leaking from the resvoir down the outside of the hose or from the connection on the tank. Alleyoop

I thought of that and looks ok...It really seems to be coming out out of the starter area or the pressed in pin next to it??
