I have noticed a shudder os jerkign which seems to be in the clutch/belt drive area when barely on the throttle. After you get moving it stops and acts fine. Any comments? Oh also I am having a very hard time finding a radiator fill neck for my 250....nobody seems to have parts in stock.

When you say "serviced" do you mean replace parts/rollers/weights or is there some cleaning or lube that needs maintained?

Yes periodically one needs to check the variator along with the clutch and belt. These variators come with hinese grease and I swear they must get this stuff from some swamp somewhere! Over time it can get gummy and the roller weights will not respond in the lower ratio when taking off thus the shutter. Once you get to a higher speed they have moved on out or even if one is stuck it may be stuck in the outer higher ratio and the scooter settles down when running at a faster speed. What you have described is a classic symptom of this. JR

Thanks for great advice! Ordered the radiator fill neck , that thing fell completely apart. Should a luithium type grease be used on the variator rollers or some type high temp grease?

On the cfmoto 244cc clone one can use a small amount of good lithium grease but on the linhai you're better off dry.
