Nothing to feel bad about 99% of the scoots do NOT come with turn signals on the mirrors. Alleyoop

If the scooter starts when you press the brake handle then the brake switch is good, the brake lights and starter relay is on the same circuit which will be the yellow/green wire. If the brake switch was bad the scooter would not start.
You have a burned out bulb on the brake filament side or a bad wire connection on the brake lights in the tail section.

Checked the bulb and it is good. Although I tested the green wire and I am getting no voltage through it.

Jman the green wire is ground. The back bulb assembly has 3 wires;
Green = ground yellow/green = brake light brown = tail light.
Now the black wire feeds voltage to each brake handle. The yellow/green carries voltage all the way back to the brake light/s. And on the way it splits and also goes to the starter relay. That's why the scooter will NOT start without a brake handle pressed it's a safety feature.
So we know you are getting voltage at least to the starter relay through the yellow/green wire.
Now if the bulb/s are good then you are losing voltage from the starter relay area where the yellow/green wire splits or your losing ground through the green wire.
The same green wire also is used for the tail lights. Does your tail lights come on when you start the scooter? if so then you need to start tracing out the yellow/green wire. If not then I suspect the whole assembly in the back has come unplugged.
When you test the brake light circuit turn on the key, put a rubber band on one of the brake handles to keep it pulled and then use the volt meter set on Dc volts to check. Put one lead on the greeen = ground and the other on the yellow/green.

When I looked for the other end to connect it there was no End to connect it !! I took a pic of it can neone tell me what this is?? Does it even connect to something?? Sorry again folks I am the biggest idiot with nething that deals with electric! Attachments:

Alright help me out here. The plug system that is plugged together on the top female side it appears to be these colors;
black/white = kill switch wire green = ground red = 12VDc from battery black = 12Vdc from key swith when in on position
Now the male that's plugged into it are they the same colors? I can't make them out in the picture.
Now the plug you can't find a mate to I can only see part of the wires and their color;
Black/white red
What are the other colors?
