So I've talking to different ppl discussing how to make my 150cc chaun adventure scooter faster. One guy said that in the variator there's a washer and if I would take that washer off id achieve a greater top speed. Is there any truth to this or is it a myth? Also to my knowledge if you changed the slider weights to be slightly heavier I'd also get greater speed but 2 ppl I talked said it slowed down their scoot. Could that be accurate? Thanks.

So a few weeks ago I foolishly let my buddy ride my scooter(08 tank racer 150) He go down the block, lost control and totaled my scooter!! So to make up for it he replaced it with a 09 chaun adventure 150!! I immediatley noticed that it didn't have the same top speed as my tank!! My tank hit about 60-62 mph and this adventure only hits 55 mph!! What would be a somewhat cheap/fast way to gain more speed?? should I change the weights??? get a bigger belt??? If I get at least 5 more mph I'll be happy once again!! thanks!!

So I'm still trying to figure out this electrical stuff to find out why my brake light doesn't work. I open the scoot up and found this plug that wasn't plugged to nething. When I looked for the other end to connect it there was no End to connect it !! I took a pic of it can neone tell me what this is?? Does it even connect to something?? Sorry again folks I am the biggest idiot with nething that deals with electric! Attachments:

Checked the bulb and it is good. Although I tested the green wire and I am getting no voltage through it.

Thx.Have not replaced he bulb. The back light is on when I turn on the scoot. But when I hit the brake the brake light doesn't cut on.which leads me to believe it may be the brake switch.
