So these few weeks have been bad for my scooter and now it gets worse!! Seems like as soon as I repair one thing something else fails. While riding home from work today my turn signals and brake light failed. I am absolutely horrific when it comes to electric wiring of things!! Not sure why the stopped working one sec there were good then the next they failed!! One thing I know for sure is that I am not getting any voltage to the turn signal switch I checked it. I am hoping a wire just came loose but I am sure this isn't the case!!!!! Anyone have a similar problem? Tank 2008 racer

If it happened all of a sudden then that's almost a dead givaway to a broke wire or loose connection. They both feed off of the black wire from the igntion switch and have connectors that come loose easily. The horn also feeds off of the same wire. You'll find it as soon as you get her open to look at the wires.

Thanks. I'll open her up after work. But even though my horn works could it still by loose or broken wire??

Yep! Does this scooter have a fuse box or just one single fuse? No power to switch is broke or loose wire and it's the black one.

So opened her up and turned on the scooter and magically the blinkers worked!!! Which led me to believe that it was a loose wire and perhaps by opening he scooter up I hit the wire to make it work!!

Now what you want to do is move the wires to find the LOOSE connection so that you can fix it so that it woun't happen again. Alleyoop

Will do thanks!! Could it also have been a possibility that the battery was weak and not have enough juice to power my blinkers at the time the blinkers went out???

Have you replaced the bulbs, they might have gone out or back connection in the sockets. Also the wires going into the sockets could of broke or come out. Take the volt meter and check the wires going into the socket if it has juice there then you know its either your bulbs or the contacts. If no juice then its up by the brake switch someplace or fruther down where its plugs in.
You got to trace and the easiest is first check by the bulb and socket that alone will tell you if its further up the front. Alleyoop

Thx.Have not replaced he bulb. The back light is on when I turn on the scoot. But when I hit the brake the brake light doesn't cut on.which leads me to believe it may be the brake switch.

If the tail light works but nothing happens when you apply the brake you probably have a bad tail/brake light bulb. They are the same bulb with a filament for the tail light and one for the brake light.

Do your mirrors have turn signals in them by chance? My 06 Tank Racer 'did'. The wires kept getting pinched and shorting things out so I can disconnected them and never had anymore problems.
