The closest thing I could find for this scoot was the wiring diagram for the 150 Lance Milan on our site (6 wire R/R). However this diagram does not agree with the wiring diagram in the 150 Lance Milan owner's manual. The difference is primarily with the R/R (4 wire R/R). Where did the 6 wire diagram come from? .scooterdynasty.com/wiringdiagrams.aspx" rel="nofollow" target="_blank">.scooterdynasty.com/wiringdiagrams.aspxVery confusing Cruiser! I search long and hard for correct diagrams but as you well know sometimes it's a crap shoot? When I find errors or incorrect information I do everything I can to correct it including spending hours drawing them right. I agree the manual and this one does not agree but if you look at every Lance 150 manual you'll see they used the same diagram in every manual? Are they correct? Who knows? But he says he has a 6 wire diagram and like I said Jonway like ZNEN likes to be offbeat, so we'll see how this shakes out. I hope he does have a manual with a diagram but who knows if it matches the scooter? JR

MY Findings the r/r colors are red, white, green, yellow, yellow, yellow. My cdi wire colors are i think it was it were Red/white, Black/yellow, Black/red, Black/white, Green. With the R/R totally unplugged stator read. Green to Yellow 0's all three. Yellow to Yellow read 18 to 23 at a idle and 30+ at a rev up. The red wire from the R/R with engine off read 0dcv. Engine on idle 3.5 -4dcv at a rev went down to 1dcv I'm still looking for the engine ground and frame ground have no idea where to look but What do you guys think

grounds , on the left side near the oil dipstick , on the fan cover bolt should be a wire . That is your engine ground . Sometimes under the bolt holding the regulator on the frame is your frame ground . Len I sent you another PM . Is this your regulator below ? i1214.photobucket.com/albums/cc483/tvnacman/photo.jpgJohn

Your voltages are good on the yellow wires from the stator and climb upon reving the engine, yes this is good.
The frame ground is easy to trace. Find the black negative cable on the battery and trace it down to where it bolts on the frame, sometimes like TV said the R/R will bolt up right on top of it.
There should be a large wire or cable that hooks up with your battery cable hooks up to the frame and then goes down and hooks up in the area that TV told you on the engine. If the engine isn't grounded it will smoke the R/R as fast as you plug them in.
TV that is the typical 6 wire R/R in your picture, 3 yellows go to the stator, black to the ignition, red to the battery and green to ground.
If you also read his CDI wire colors you see it is a AC fed CDI.
I'll ask again lennie do you have a manual with a wiring diagram? I'm betting the lights are AC.
Also did you buy scooter used or new? Reason I ask is I'm wondering if it has been upgraded to the 11 pole in the past and they didn't complete the upgrade?

I have that scooter , it came with a 6pole stator and a 4pin regulator . I ripped my hair out with that set up . Then I upgraded to 11pole stator and 7pin regulator . My headlights were ac now they are dc . . Len on the head light switch plug is there a yellow wire ?

My thought is this scooter has been upgraded by the previous owner and they didn't put the right R/R on even though a 6-wire unit can work with a 11 pole stator.
