Very good point Null! In fact HF has a lot of stuff on sale right now and I just got their mailer in the mail with a 20% coupon plus any item you buy gets a free cheapo $10 Multimeter. I'm thinking of going to the Little Rock store and getting the $19.99 battery operated drill my 20 year old DeWalt finally bit the dust and if they have the tire changer I may get one myself, my arthritis isn't liking the tire irons! JR I believe that tire changer works on wheels up to 12" diameter. No good for our maxi's with 13" wheels. You can find one which will handle up to 16" wheels on Ebay in the $75 range, but your wheels have to have at least a 1 5/8" center hole.

Mountain Moped has a HF tire mounter along with their exellent hydrolic lift. The problem with mounting the scooter tires, if you have one, is that the side walls on some are very difficult to stretch even with the machine. It took us quite a while to mount the R9 rear tire. Bryan says that some will slip right on while others will give you a fit. My TGB DEl 150 is about ready for a rear tire so I bought two. We will see how it goes. HF is a treasure trove!!!

I wonder if it's because I only have to turn 5 times in the 18 miles one way to work. I have over 15,000 miles on my 2006 Tank and I am still on the stock factory tires that came on it. I'm not even down to the wear indicator yet.

My brother bought his Tank about two weeks before I bought mine. He's pushing 20K miles and still on the same stock tires but he finally reached the wear indicators so he's looking now for new tires. I have owned 2 Tanks along the way, traded the 250 for a TGB Delivery 150, now have 8000 miles on it, and gave my Tank 150 to my stepson when he moved to TX. So far as I know it is still running. Tanks were a well built scooter, had very little trouble with mine. The companyu that imported the scoots under the Tank name is no longer in business. The Roketa was made by the same Chinese company that made Tank.

Got the tires in today, took longer than I wanted but they did keep me informed and got the order right so now gonna get the old camera out and do a pictorial on putting them on on the 250B.
