The old scoot has been running great after the engine rebuild and new stator except for: Noticed that after I've stopped at an intersection the headlights noticeably dim. It only takes a few rpms for them to return to normal brightness. Should I increase my idle speed a bit or do I have more problems? Already checked for loose connections and/or grounds.

If it only takes a few RPMS and raiseing it will NOT make the Rear Wheel Spin I would raise the Idle. Alleyoop

I'll give it a try this weekend. Got to drive the gas hog tomorrow; have to go to work then drive cross county to the next county to one of the other plants. Just don't have the time to drive the scoot that far.
