yes the new engine is the same exact one as the old one it bolted in to place with out any hassel the engine came with a rectifire and it has the smae number of wires . only thing it isnt split between 2 plugs .can be seen in the second picture i posted what is R/R No problem like I said you will have to make up your own connections, the OEM plugs will not work with this new stator and the new R/R R/R = regulator/rectifier. What you call the recifier is actually a rectifier which converts the AC to DC and a regulator which regeulates the output voltage. JR

one scooter down , and one to go .
now i am going to take the transmission of the old motor , to see if the gears were chewed apart , because the old engine for some odd reason when kick starting the kick starter used to get stuck . sorry the kick starter was getting stuck because there was some damage to one of the points were the kick start gears mounted to .

the actual problem was that the real wheel used to lock hitting it with a rubber mallet didn't release it .

If yours is a 150 it probably has a 24mm Carb, why do you want such a big carb? The intake manifold will most likely not fit the 30mm opening and I think you will be getting to much fuel and flooding it and it will run like crap.
If you want a little more fuel just re-jet your current carb. It only takes a few mintues to do and you may just be able to loosen the clamps drain the fuel out of the carb and turn it on its side and you should be able to take the jet out and screw in the bigger one. Rotate the carb straight again and tighten up the clamps and away you go. Alleyoop

well i thought that by getting a bigger carb meant more air and more fuel creating more power . but i did put bigger jets on the stock carb .
i dont want to consume more fule . i really didnt feel any difference in speed or power after i rejeted it . just sucking up fuel . i changed the jets because i installed an iridium plugg as well as a "racing coil"

Just feeding it more fuel is not going to get you more UMP as they say. Now if you stick a Free Flow Exhaust and a Free Flow Filter then you do need to Up-Jet due to a SHIT LOAD OF AIR coming in and not enough fuel. But just putting on a Performance CDI and or Coil and Iridium Plug does not require upjetting. All that does for you is better burning of the fuel that is already being delivered and you will notice a smoother idle and easier starting and a little more power due to more of the fuel being ingnited better and a little bigger explosion.
I mean take mine it was a 149.6cc and had it bored and now it is 182ccs. I still have the 24mm carb just upjetted it is running with a 122.5 main and a #38 Pilot. A 125 Main jet was to big it would pop at around 50-55 mph. So that gives you a good test that even with a 24mm carb you can flood the shit out of it. Allwyoop
