I had to share this in the name of fun. ;D We all must have had some amusing moments while reading thru owners manual documentation for Chinese scoots. My favorite is the kill switch, aka the "Fire Out" switch or the "Burn Out" switch as it says in my manual. I was rather concerned when I first flicked it in anticipation of a nitrous fueled smoke show. Wow I thought, these Asian guys are crazy putting nitrous on these things. Alas it was not to be and my 'burn out' switch was only a kill switch. Today I was surfing for a start/stop/kill switch as mine is giving me trouble again ( I'll post that experience separate) and low and behold I stumble across some more amusing translation. Amoungst different terminology for the switch - Right side switch; Start stop switch; Kill switch - I come across one I haven't heard before for the turn signal flashers: Singing Sparking Relay...... .ridemaxdealer.com/index.php/main_page/index/cPath/117_202" rel="nofollow" target="_blank">.ridemaxdealer.com/index.php/main_page/index/cPath/117_202Hmmm It sings? Very nice. I wonder what tune it plays. It sparks? Wow, might be dangerous like Chinese fire crackers coming out of your handle bars. What does it relay? Messages? Had to chuckle and share this new one. So if you're ever looking for a turn signal flasher/relay, search for Singing Sparking Relay. For some related good laughs visit engrish.com Good clean fun on the English translation on signs in Asia for visitors.
