Ok Looking for a couple of new batteries.
Would like 14Ah but not with the size requirements have not been able to find one.
5 3/4" long x 3 1/4" wide x 4 1/4" high
This is as big as we can go in my Dads Linhai Mainstreet 260.
Any one have any suggestions on good places to get batteries?

That lithium battery is interesting. Wonder if anyone has any experience with it? Not sure I am ready to experiment.
You might consider modifying the battery compartment or changing it's location so you can use rather cheap lawn tractor/mower batteries or motorcycle batteries.

Todd, I got mine at a Big R store. I also know that Rural King has them.

Just installed this new lithium iron battery and the old girl started right up when I barely tapped the starter. I'll keep you all posted Attachments:

So I'm not sure if I'm imagining things or not but my scooter is running better than ever with the new battery. Also so you know, the specs are 13.6V 15aH. The motorcycle store i got it from said they have yet to hear a downside to these things and say you could leave these batteries dormant for a year and it won't even lose 10% of its charge. Well I guess the only downside is the price. Got mine for $154.
The lights all seem brighter, starts up instantly every time, the ride even feels smoother. So far so good on this whole lithium iron thing.
