ok so i go to do an oil change and for the first real good look at my used scoot and i find 2 things so far first as i take out the drain bolt on the gears all this black crumbly crud starts coming off and low and behold its been stripped the second thing is on my 150 there was a metal end piece on the line running from the bottom of the carb with a screw in it so the gas wouldn't run out the bowl the 50 has no metal end i see no gas coming out im not sure why gravity and all but shouldn't there be a metal end with a screw to keep the gas in

It if fine, the carb on the 50 the screw is on the carb right next to the hose(Which by the way is much better). The one on your 150 that has the screw on the END of the Drain Hose many times the screw comes loose and falls out and you will be dropping gas all over the place. So on the 150 Put a DAB of silcone over the Screw and Metal Holder so it will not vibrate Loose. If you for some reason have to drain the Carb bowl just peel the silicone off and unscrew the screw and drain then you can silicone it back up when done. Alleyoop
