i had this idea last week, when i was
tying to figure out & understand a VOM.

i woulda loved & paid for help.

heres my idea.

one of u GREAT mechs set up a on line scoot repair.
set up a skype type account
when a person needs someone to look over there shoulder
or such.
you can arrange a time for both to go on line
and 'skype' .

charge a price, thats in line with whats going on.

im sure it would work.

Seems like a good idea. I used to work in computing (windows and unix servers in a data suite) and when something stumped us we would do the same. Not using skype, but using msn / telephones and allowing them to log in remotely to servers to assist. You can't know everything and something like this would probably be a nice little earned for someone.

i was just thinking for a 'real' time thing

like with my VOm
guys were telling me to set to this seting etc
and i had no idea where ohms were or continuity

oh well its just a thought
