I finally did it ;D worked today to get this out of my scoot, it is the wire that controls the brake light and allows you to start your scoot. (This has a short where its crimped together) I hope I can fix this, I can't seem to find this item anywhere to buy  Attachments:

ooks like all you need to dois replace the ends you can get them at any parts house if it is the wire you can get some heavy speaker wir and replace it

That's what she said.... Now how ya gonna get it back in?  ? Take a trip to Radio Shack. They can replicate the exact wire and connections for a small fee..... or upgrade the gage and connections. Good luck putting it back in if she lets ya  It's not easy to pull out but, getting back in is harder without a bit of coaxing  |

I removed my brake switch box  before striping that wire, I was looking where you plug the connector in, should the end connector be loose? maybe found the problem (I order a new one) |

Are you talking about the switch itself or the plug in to the switch?

Been looking around for just this short pigtail plugin that hooks to the brake light switch and I'm betting one cannot buy just that? One was just have to call and ask. Also Richard if you determine the switch is bad they are a dime a dozen on ebay, a common switch that is even used on most honda scooters and motorcyles. But do know one thing if you order a switch they are polarity sensative as in you must order either a right switch or a left switch they do not interchange. I've bought them before for as little as $4. I'll keep looking.  JR |
