checked connectors , checked staror wires, there are 5 main wires three orange and 2 others for pick up coil on the stator connector but on the three orange theres a jumper yellow wire comming from one of the orange wires so when i checked the stator before i took it off i didnt unplug that yellow jump wire which now i know its connected to ground through some circut which may be though the lights but it was showing that the orange wires had connection to ground with that jumper yellow wire pluged in so whats the yellow wire for , im at my wits end pls help me now i got to put a new gasket on the stator cover and maybe the water pump cover and still it wont be fixed, it will not charge

ok here we go i put a new rectifer on it, then put volt meter across batt would get about 13 something , rode it , now not charging again put volt meter across batt again voltage goes down , has new batt
