Well I got a replacement stator to see if maybe I got a defective one and still the same problem. Scooter starts and runs. Right turn signal functions in the gauge and lights, left turn signal works in guage but lights do not, headlights light will come on in gauge but the headlight does not come on, brake lights dont work. Horn does work. Everything worked fine before the stator change. I tried a new cdi which did nothing. I do have a new regulator/rectifier I will try putting on tomorrow and see what happens but so far no luck. Any ideas yet?

I have a 2016 taotao 50cc scooter gy6 i believe. so my stator was getting weak (to my knowledge) When I would ride my scooter within a day or so the battery (which is small) would die and all my lights and horn would stop working due to a dead battery. Did some research in which I was told that the stator was not putting out enough and was getting weak. I bought a replacement stator and installed it, after I installed it I thought all was great it started up (kickstart) right away and the gauge lights came right on without the battery connected and they got brighter when I gave it a little gas, but here is the problem, after I installed the new stator the headlight stopped working, brake and taillights stopped working and the left turn signal stopped working. The right signal still functions and the left signal in the gauge part works but the actual signals do nothing. What could I have done wrong or could it be a problem with the new stator? I cant install the old stator as my greedy brother immediately took it without my permission and stripped everything off to scrap with all of his other garbage. Any help is much appreciated.
