If you were carrying about 30 pound less weight you might get that extra 5 MPH!

I have had this 2006 Lanhai 260 for about four weeks. It has less than 1400 miles on it. When I got it I went over it completely. Changed the oil, cleaned the air cleaner, topped up the master cylinders, topped up the coolant. Checked brake pads. Checked tire pressure and generally checked all fittings for tightness. I have put about 200 + miles on it, mostly on the highway and so far the temperature gauge only moves about 1/8 -1/4 inch from its off position. It runs very well and the engine does not seem to be overheating. The coolant level is good and after running it for about 25 minutes, the coolant is warm, but not hot. Is this normal??
