Hi all, so here is a question I hope someone can clarify for me. If I have a 125cc gy6 motor, with piston and sleeve, will it work if I put a 150cc cylinder head on there? I have the head for 125cc but the case is shorter then the case of the 150cc so at the end when I install my cam and rockerbox my Cain is to long. The 150cc head fits 100% and chain length is also 100%, the problem is when I start it up it does not run right, keeps back firing and missing, won't reg up as well.
Can it be because it a 150cc head? Do I need to check some thing els?
Timing is 100% on its marks, has a new stator, cdi and coil.

Maybe for a alarm system that is not installed.

Why can't you connect it on direct power through your lights switch? Remove it from the stator. Sorry if this question is stupid.

If you have no power wire to cdi from your stator its a DC stator and you should use the bigger black box, connect 12v DC power in from your ignition to the two pin plug and the power to coil in the top right corner of the 4 pin plug, connect the pick on top next to the coil wire and the earth underneath the pick up.

I was given a 2008 Schwinn Valo 50 scooter with 167 miles. If you don't have a power wire to your cdi from stator it a DC stator and you should use the bigger black box, connect 12v DC power on the two plug connector, and the power to coil right top, next to it your pick up and underneath the pick up your earth.

Hi all, I have a Jonway master 300cc here, I bought the bike with no coil, no cdi, and the wiring has been cut out piece's, so I 1st got a racing cdi for a 250cc and installed it with a new coil, traced the 12v DC power in from ignition and also wired up the pick up, power to coil, earth and all. Its the normal 6 pin wiring set up, I got strong spark and she starts up quick but then back fire out the carb and exhaust. I then checked for timing and valve settings and everything is in order there, or at least I think it is. I also adjusted and cleaned the carb to eliminate fuel problems, still the same, so I googled this models cdi and I bought a DC 8 pin cdi box, its the flat black box with one 8 pin plug, but no were I can find a pin out diagram to check where I should connect my wires. If anyone has such q diagram or any advice I would really appreciate it. cloud.tapatalk.com/s/58d65c1c9c82e/IMG_20170217_131344.jpg?
