I was given a 2008 Schwinn Valo 50 scooter with 167 miles. The previous owner found it had lost spark, so he changed out the CDI a few different times. The previous owner is no longer with us so I am trying to figure out what he actually has done. PROBLEM #1, I have 4 CDI's and one is a little larger, but not much, so I am not sure if they or DC or AC boxes. there is a 4 plug and a 2 plug on each one. my harness has 4 wires that plug in on the 4 plug of the CDI and my 2 plug connector has only one wire. Most people are saying that is a DC Box. PROBLEM #2, I found that my stator had a bad wire in it, no problem, I will get a new one. Once again, I do not know if it is a DC or AC stator. 1 shop said it was DC and another told me AC. This what I can tell you about the stator, It has 8 coils, 3 wires coming out of the stator, 1 white, 1 yellow and 1 green. then I have my blue with white stripe as a pickup.

I was going to attach pictures, but I could not figure out how to do it. Can someone help me figure out if the stator is ac or dc and same for the CDI.
