I'm paying about $120/yr for full coverage. But I'm a really old fart, so I get low rates.

Hello everyone!
I've been looking around the interwebs for information on which cheap scooter to buy, and where to get one. I think my head is spinning! I thought the biggest issue on selecting a size was between a 250cc or 260cc. Now I've read a little more here, and see that there are even more options on engines!
I am hoping to get educated enough to make an intelligent decision on a purchase. Basically, I am planning on riding a scooter primarily to work to save on gas. My trip is about 35 miles one way, with most of it on 55mph roads. I like the Roketa MC54 250B, MC 68A, MC79, and the Tank Touring 260. I've seen these models on different websites. I've also seen some good and bad reviews on different web vendors, and hope to learn which ones to stay away from, and which ones to trust.
