So the fan cover was bitched up but Great Sports was great with the claim and will send a new fan. I patched up the ground wire and sealed the back side of all the harness connectors with silicone. Re routed the starter wire cuz it ran under the waterpump hose. Lots of loose screws that got lock tited. This is what the fan cover looks like. And the other pic is what the oil screen looks like fresh from the factory, see the filings and goop? This was during PDI oil change before the bike was started. Also, found the factory coolant is the bike looks like camper antifreeze, the pink stuff....

Hey folks. New Jonway 250 YY250 T2
Anyone know what the T2 stands for. ? Difference between the T and T2? New bike out of the box last night. During tear down and PDI I found some interesting things. Fuel tank was pristine clean but the bike was run t least long enough to burn the ground wire that was sitting on the exhaust. An easy fix and the reason I guess we are told to remove the skins and cable tie the wires down.
Second I found the radiator fan wire guard all bitched up and perforated in three places. Very odd because where it's located this could not have happened in transit. It almost looks as though the wire mesh was torn from inside the fan. There is no way the guy who assembled this would not have seen this! Another god case for removing the skins and going over the whole bike! So far that all I found d cept for some loose screws. Some of my placating screws seem to have been sealed with lock title or sealant too.
I have some questions about other stuff but can't seem to upload photos from my Ipad so I'll save those for later. Has anybody with. Anew 250 T2 sen the fan cage damaged?
