Mel, I have this exact same model. I am newer to scooter as well but maybe we can work together. Always happy to help! I was able to find a pdf for a similar model, the Pep Boys Baja SC150. Looks similar. Baja SC150 Owner's ManualBest of luck! Bill

Okay guys. Got this scooter running like a champ. Yes, It was a gunked up carb jet..the lower one. Seems like a ton of people have this issue after the scooter sits too long.
Now I need to find some body plastics to replace some of the cracked ones on here. I am not necessarily trying to go back to stock...I just want good body pieces that fit this model. I have heard that this scooter was a purchase from Zongshen by Pep Boys. I have seen some pictures of the Zongshen Spy 125 and it is nearly the same. Of course they stopped making it or providing parts. Any ideas? Will plastics for other GY6 scooters fit?
Would love to get it in all black then chrome out the engine parts...trunk...etc. like really deck it out nicely. Thanks!

Hey all! I am looking for original or after market parts for a Baja SC 125. Namely plastics, signals, starter motor, and maybe a carb. Can you bondo or fiberglass this type of plastic? Any real disadvantages to trying to fix the broken connector tabs on the current stuff? I had originally wanted to restore this scooter but now I am also open to creating something truly slick and unique. Trying to resurrect one I just bought from a friend. I have a .pdf parts list but Google-ing yields very little parts suppliers anywhere. Thanks!

Thanks JR, Alleyoop, and Luke. Excited to get this one running and start saving some gas. Any parts places you would recommend?

Hey all! Cool forum!
i just got a used (and not running) Baja SC 125. I have charged it up but can't get it to turn over unless I pour gas directly into the carb. It runs for a short minute then dies. Also it looks like the poor thing has taken a few spills. Needs new plastics, fender, body pieces, turning signals, and mirrors. I have scoured the net and found a PDF parts list but can't seem to find parts anywhere. Thought this might be a fun project toy for getting around town this summer but maybe I just threw away my money. I would greatly appreciate any guidance or suggestions. Not a mechanic by any means but I have tools and like to tinker. Thanks!
