TO ALLYOOP , thanks for finding my brothers avitar, we arent twins by any acount that you amagine but close as i was born 19 hours after he was, After a few bad mishaps a while back, charles went into a black hole so to speak and never really recovered and did pass away a wile a after that our mother thought is was neet to name me after him kinda as his real name was Ronald C H------T ( c stands charles ) and my name is Charles R H-----T, (r for ronald) my son is also named after us Ronaldcharles H-----t, or R C for short ,yes i know we Indains do, do strange things
all three use the same prefix name of Charles, just to confuse people i guess, when we were young it was fun ,but now older but not much wiser ,it isnt near as funny as it used to be,( sorry about that ) differanceses are he was a doier a machanic and travler, me i like reading and gardening, i moved in to the place he rented after he and his wife died , we did share our love for motorcycles and scooters, he kew all about them i knew not
much just i loved ridding them, as does my son and yes i did take over some of his listings such as his email address , his home address as i live here now , i did keep his old kz 1000 but i sold his hot rod, rod scooter 158 cc just last week to a guy in new york who races them, Im so vary sorry if there was any confuesion here with doing that, ill go thru and find his acount and delete it, then ill delete mine sos not to confues or insult any one here sorry for any miss leades you may think i have done, i do deadacate this to my brother_ charles, you knew him as travler one i beleave, and lifes best friend and his lovely wife, both are with all the gods and spirits now, thank you for tollerating us and being so helpfull when we needed it,

IT was a nice sunny saturday morning i wanted a maxi scooter but not having much money im on a fixed income i didnt think i would find one i could afford, good maxie scooters were 2500 to3500 used, i had saved up only 1200, when i found this add for a jcl maxi scooter for 1400 with vary low miles like 8oo and vary fast, bowered 200 from the wife , looked at the pics again something was a little strange figured it was just the pics, gathered up as much loose info i could find in a short time read it and wife and i went out to deal for it , we finely got there still sunny and bright day so far looked at the scooter (not vary well tho ) what an ass i am, herd it run it was ouiet and took the gass and reved well , sounds good i said , by now dark clowds were moving in fast. after haggling i bought it for 1100, ready to ride it home, we hit the inter state and all hell turned loose the rain storm of storms hit, after a bit of sitting on the interstate being as wet as i could possibly get water was running out of my shoes and shirt pocket,really!! sat in the wifes car for a bit and decided to press on thru the storm, still something was wrong, scooter seemed to be pushing against it self and handle bars seemed hi and strange also the front of the scooter seemed to be a bit higher than the rest of it, and at 35 mph it would shudder off and on and shake a little.figured it was the water on the road, you know hydroplaning and all, and now the winds be came harder and blinding rain, slowed to 20 mph and scooter strightend out and kept running water comming out of every where possible but still running actually the trunk under the seat was full of water, got within a 1/4 mile from home drive way and oh ya!!! the rain stopped , winds died off and now the suns back out,after 50 miles and 3 hours thru a really really bad storm ,of course im home and it stops why not!!. AND now the scooter it self its the next day and i figuerd i would now really go over my new prize, here it is guys the scooter must have been in a head on or hit some thing flat head on, wind shield was replaced and taped and glued on under the brace holder , also noticed speedo cable was on the wrong side ,thats because the front frame and shocks were removed and put on backword cousing that slight lift in the front end, and the rear of the front fender was now the front as the front part must have been distroyed in the head on, that why it seemed to be pushing against it self shocks wernt working the way they should ,handle bars were both bent up on both sides and pushed witha slight bend back words now with the front end turned around the bars leaned foward, the botton of the radiator cowl was tyrapped to thebotom of front frame brace.and whe whole body was pushed 1 1/4 inches back on the main frame and muffler and pipe were wired on and with worm clamps ti the frame to keep it in contact with the exhust port strictly amazing that scooter ran much less moved at all, now do i return it and raise hell and maybe more truble,huh ? No i figuer this scooter has been misused, smashed up pissed on kicked stormed on flooded blown over twice, but its still hear and still running, hum, time for a second chance to be a scooter again frames good and stright motors fine trans fine rear end fine wireing good every thing works radiators fine only vary minor cracks in body, ill fix it, so for another 75.00 in small parts and screws a lot of just plane labor and reclabrating everything its back as you see it in the picture, I think this scooter loves me for doing all this thats why it responds the way it does ;D i know im just an old fart being stupid :)v But thats me strange! vary strange!!! HI GUYS , i did like you said with new sliders went just a bit heavier ya takeoffs did much better thanks! as long as i was out i wanted to see just what it would do after i polished the varitor and new high grip belt and new sliders in stead of worn rollers, so i had my wife follow me up on the interstate with her car opened the gas to about 7/8 wot she ran right to 80 no problem with just a tiney bit of gas left i went for it wot hard for 1.5 miles the she ran up to 85 when the speedo needle started past 85 i shut it down and pulled over wife said i was at 87 mph befor i pulled it over, it didnt scream, caugh, over heat nothing didnt even show signs of straining unbelivable, i told you its like a little beast, i came home let it set for a few hours and took it out again this time just normal riding cruised around at 60 to 65 for an hour not any problems not even a blink.
i was looking at a new varitor it has round balls in stead of rollers or sliders, susposed to preform a lot better says gives scooters more life and responce do you know are they any good, are they worth looking into, would really like some imput on these things. thanks again guys twoeagles
