I just bought a sunny (Dongfang) DF150TKB from scooter depot. I had mine delivered assembled and all I had to put on were mirrors and rear trunk case, so the PDI was performed by SD. It arrived in perfect condition. SD answered all my calls quickly and might have been put on hold 10 % of my calls for no longer than 5 min. The final title and paperwork came less than a week later. I used to own a Puch 50 cc which was great and trouble free many years. i gotta tell you i love this scooter. From what i have read, i'm one of the lucky ones dealing with SD, but i checked and they had 1.8 million dollars in sales last year, which is a chit load of scooters, so the amount of complaints compared to the amount of sales are minimal of you ask me. The MOST important factor in PDI and assembly. I used to work in a bicycle shop assembling bikes and if i sold a $3000 bike in the box to a customer with no mechanical experience, and he put it together, he would have nothing but trouble and the thing would NEVER work right. In the same vein, i can take a $100 huffy 12 speed from Walmart and make it cruise to the best of its ability with very little problems. The trike rides great, except it wobbles slightly at 45 mph, but thats only because its not completely correctly dialed in yet. I only have around 200 miles on it so I'm still figuring it out and breaking it in. It turns great, rides smooth, accelerates very well and I'm very happy. I'd recommend it to all. The tilting/leaning of the front end makes for a cool ride and there is minimal time getting used to it. MINIMAL. I'm glad i bought it. And i want to add that i'm doing my own PDI also just to be safe and learn the ins and outs of this puppy.
