My 2012 Icebear 300cc scooter just came today but cant figure how to open the seat to get to the manuals. hehe I tried turning the key to the right and left. Even pressing in on the key to left and right. The seat still wont open.
BUMMER, it probably needs to be adjusted, you are going to have to reach under there by the seat and pull on the cable. Then you can adjust the cable. Alleyoop

HEHEHE!! It depends how the seat opens Sideways Left or from the back of the seat forward(IF YOU KNOW SINCE YOU CAN'T OPEN IT)haha.. The other way is to go after it from under the KEY the cable will be there as well. Normally you turn the key to the LEFT to pull on the cable. Alleyoop

hmmm Alley and Mike. One of you saying turn to the left, other saying turn to the right. But it did open up finally yesterday morning after turning to the LEFT. The strange part, i was already turning to the left the day before. Even turn to the right, and left and right and left, even try pushing in the key turning to left. LOL But now i am afraid to close the seat. Fear that I wont be able to open it again. I been searching on internet how to adjust that seat cable for icebear but having no luck so far. Alley you sure you own a icebear scooter ? Because their is no where i can put my hand under the KEY to get to the cable. LOL
This is my scooter the day it came. I too lazy to make another video and post it. But as you can see, their is no where I can reach under the key to adjust the cable.

Yea big Nose Maggo gets his LEFT AND RIGHT mixed up you know the HEAT down in FLorida gets to him once in a while
The problem is Mine has a key beside the Seat to open it and does not open with the Key in the ignition. The 300s are different they do not have a seperate lock by the seat like mine. But anywhos JIM from RapidRepair has pictures of what you have to TAKE OFF to get to it and where the adjuster is. But Before you close the seat Test it out and turn the key and see if it is pulling on the Latch and adjust as necessary. Yes, I ordered 2 of them back in March of 2009 one for me and one for my brother-in law we take long rides together. Back in 2009 they just came out with them so I have one of the first models back in 2009 they called it the PST150H it has Reverse. hey nice scooter Alley!! Do you know if they make a larger windshield ? I am not happy with the windshield that came with my scooter. I want a larger one.
Thanks Alley.. I will start hunting for that windshield. That shield cost lot of money the one you bought. ekkk. Didnt know cost that much just for a sheet of plastic.
Hi Mike, thanks for reply. I seen that you had it on handle bar in your pic. Wouldnt work for me, because I plan on adding speakers to them and a GPS system.
hey alley, not sure that would work for me. I think my handle bars would hit the speakers Nice set up you have too ! Looks coooooollll When i order this icebear scooter, i thought they all came with speakers. LOL I was wrong
