These tires are airless and are scheduled to be out on the market very soon. The bad news for law enforcement is that spike strips will not work on these. Just think of the impact on existing technology: A. no more air valves... B. no more air compressors at gas stations... C. no more repair kits... D. no more flats... These are actual pictures taken at the South Carolina plant of Michelin. Alleyoop

YEA hehe, they started testing them out back in 1995 or so GUESS they did not pan out so well(HEHE). Imagine if some of the spokes that take up the flex break it would be BUMPTY BUMP down the road(HAHA). Also those Flexable spokes their elasticisty can only last so long to spring back. Alley

Well it's like anything else that comes along new if they take off then it will take people a long time to get used to the look after all how many years have we seen air type tires? Question is are they (1) cost effective (2) long life as far as wear (3) Safe in all weather conditions, hot, cold, rain snow I would be very concerned about them if you got caught in freezing rain and/or icy conditions as slush and freezing water could freeze on the spokes and cause balance problems and hinder your ability to drive? As far as looks? JR
