This scooter is driving me crazy hard to start but once running is OK. I am thinking it has to do with the carb I played with the idle screw earlier in the year and seemed to help. But what do you guys think it could be. Any help or advice would be helpful. I was thinking about taking the carb off and give it a good cleaning. thanks any help my mine is wide open at this time for any ideas

I was thinking Valves too but, Does the battery have a good charge??? Will it kickstart ok??? Never hurts to clean the carb and, Eliminates that issue Valves, Battery, Then Carb A/F mix.......

It could just be your Enricher(choke) check it out. Alleyoop Take it the ENRICHER off the carb before you start the scooter COLD, and look at the Plunger: If it looks like this the PLUNGER IS RETRACTED and should be feeding EXTRA FUEL FOR COLD STARTS(WHICH IS GOOD). If it looks like this the PLUNGER IS EXTENDED and IS NOT FEEDING extra fuel for cold starts(BAD..REPLACE THE ENRICHER).
