will the 18 coil 250cc stator mount on my 150cc .

I have been eyeballing the Gerbings heated clothing .


so I have 2 stock 35w headlight builbs and I loaded the system with a 55w headlight bulb , I lost charging , I bet at 12.5vdc its a real slow discharge rate . I could get by with led headlights and add to the heated clothing . so 70 and 55 = 125 and the 11 pole stator has failed the task . I was wondering if the 18pole would fit and what the gain would be ?

Never thought about it but according to some of the specs here it might be possible?

This is the specs on one of their 11 coil stators;

Stator (11-Coil) 32mm center hole diameter, 3bolt hole, 27mm/41mm bolt holt spacing

This is one of the 18 coil stators listed;

18-Coil Stator (for GY6 250cc water cooled motor) 32mm center hole diameter, 3bolt hole, 27mm/41mm bolt holt spacing.


But no listing on the OD of the stator itself?

Now right here they list the 11 coil at about 88mm;

Dave at Abscooter has his 18 coil stator listed at 104mm so I'd say no?
