I was reading and came upon an article on how to make your scooter go faster. Here is a quote: Remove the restricting washer from the front pulley of your SunL's variator box. This will allow your scooter's drive system to operate with greater speed.

Does this apply to our JCL/Roketta/Etc. scooters?

I do not believe it applies to the 150s and up. They usually put the Restrictions on the 50ccs to keep them under 30mph so that the STATES consider them a MOPEDS even without PEDALS. And because of that they do not require to be registered and or licensed in some states.
