Just signing in to say hello, Been a biker for 30 odd years, currently own a BMW 1150 GS, my missus now wants to 'feel' the love of biking, so took the plunge and bought her a little Honda Sky 50cc moped (non runner atm) so thats why I'm here really, don't know too much about them and look forward to asking plenty of silly questions in the process of getting it running again.

Hey Flatty, welcome to the forum. We look forward to helping you with the wife's "new" wheels. Maybe someday you will move up to a nice scoot too? I really like BMW's in general.

Thanks for the warm welcome folks. Cruiser, Beemers, yes I've had them since @1982, either love them or hate them, a lot of my friends are usually surprised how well they handle in the twisties. Had numerous fast 4 pots but now prefer pottering about.  Alleyoop, thats the one, Nice little scoot to work on so far. (read basic as I'm simple) Looking more like I need a new carb or something associated with fuelling......sorry off topic here. This is the welcoming place. |
