I’m 77, this is my latest project. Riding 65+ years on 60 some bikes including lots of projects. Scoot is ‘07 w only 2K but obvious rough life. Little physical damage but badly weathered paint. No biggie as it runs nice after usual clean/tune. Worst problem was missing axle nut causing chewed splines. I jury rigged it with loctite 660 and red on nut. Very little runout. I got it to run with a fresh auto choke. As I don’t like those added manual one. Ok, now what do I hook to the temperature sensor? I take it the heater coil of the auto choke shares its ground with the sensor. If that’s true perhaps using the wires from the original bad auto choke will work. Just tried this post as it seems the scooter forums are nowhere near as active as the snowblower forum that is great fun to work with.

Ok, no reply needed. I did as I supposed and it works fine.
