Hello all! I tried looking at all threads for answers before creating this one.
So I'm new at this scooter business, Scooter came with a harness that was completely hard wired and had a grounding issue so bought a new harness (6 pole, 4 pin regulator, 150cc scooter.
First question is, my "trigger ground" is not included in the harness and was wondering if that needs to just piggy back to the ground wire thats already there or is it not needed?
If understand, the cdi kill switch (black and white) should run directly to to the switch and the ground shall be wired in with other grounds or will the frame work just as well? I dont have battery in yet as I thought it'd be safer to potentially figure this out first, I do have a cheap meter if I need to check for resistance.
I followed the black and white wire and it leads to a 9 pin connector that has a green jumper connector, connecting the black and white wire into a peach colored wire located under the hood where it should be.
Now from the ignition, the black and white connector turns it into the peach what seems as they might be piggy backed in the harness itself, no idea. But my first thought was to check other kill switches a To see of I just dont have the right kill switch pins
My kill switch is the solo switch, right side is off, left side is run.
