Bought yongfu 150cc scooter. Runs nice, no headlights, dealer said probably voltage regulator or start switch, replaced, still nothing. Fuse good, no current in plug going to headlights.

Could be the high/low beam switch as well. Strangely, I have the exact same problem on my Tao cy150 roman as we speak...lol...My hi low beam indicator light on the dash isn't working either in my case, but all other lights work great. I changed out my VR/Rectifier to no avail. I know it has something to do with that yellow wire....but where? Who knows? I went ahead and ordered a hi lo beam switch for the handlebars. Hopfully that'll do the trick.

BINGO! Shortly after removing the rear end plastics, (scoot looks like a Vespa 150...lol), I found the problem in the stator 3 wire connector that links the stator to the wiring harness....my scooter is 4 yrs old, and that plug didn't look too good, and wasn't making good contact...after wigglin' it around a bit, I saw my headlight come on! YAY Now to replace the 3 wire plug with this fancy Corsa Technic plug and put the plastics back on! DOH
