I'm working on 2008 Geely 50cc. It was a big mess when I found it but since I got it for free $99, I thought I'd take a shot. It's idling really well but dies with even the slightest application of throttle. I had it up and running several weeks ago and let my daughter take it around the block for a spin. Her definition of block was slightly different than mine and she showed up 30 min later walking the scoot saying it died. I have tested and replaced the vacuum hose to the fuel petcock (there seems to be another vacuum hose that comes out of the top of valve housing but it doesn't go anywhere. Same with one that comes from the gas tank. Thinking maybe they should be connected by a filter of some kind) but there are no other vacuum lines. Fuel is obviously getting to the carb since it's idling great.
I'm gonna try re-adjusting the valves and re-cleaning the carb later this week.
Any ideas wonderful Jedi Masters of the Scoot Universe?
