Quick question to the JCL MP 250A and the Roketa with the Linhai 260. Can I work on my variator without taking my Cadillac fenders (big rear body wrap around) off if I'm careful ?

Since it is a Reflex clone, the body panels appear to be mounted in a similar way. So just the lower left floor skirt part below the foot rest area needs to get out of the way for access to the variator cover.

This is true Bandito2, I forgot to come back to this thread and tell how. I had to take that aluminum sheet off your left foot rest on. then you can take off the screws that hold the lower skirt off you suggested. Don't forget to take the screw off at the total front of the skirt. Once you have that lower left skirt off an 8 mm socket will take the variator cover off. Then you can do whatever handy work you need to do to the transmission / CVT.
