Welcome to the forum,rayg--you will find everyone here is happy to see you,and will help you with your problem--in my own experience,I find sometimes that the battery is not up to par ,or some connector is dirty,or loose--if you haven't done so,start with checking the voltage of the battery --if it is below 12 volts it could be the problem--if all connections are tight, and battery is good, the starter may be defective it self--some of the really good wrenchers will be on here soon and will have info for you --and no question is unimportant--it is the way we learn-we would like to see photos of your scoots as well--happy trails, fflintstone

rayg Flintsone made a good suggestion and also we have a lot of info on the Honda Sky. Just start a thread in the Non-Chinese scooter section and we'll jump right in. JR

Hi people,I'm sorry about the delay in replying.thanks very much for your kind information it is very helpful,I will let you know how I get on as soon as I can, just wanted to say what a superb forum this is and I'm really happy you have accepted me,you have a great community and the threads are easy to understand,I have my Kymco agility 50 2013 on the road now and seems fine apart from the starter just clicking a couple of times before it starts, also would you recommend redistricting my bike and how would I go about the job, thanks again for all your valuable time, kind regards ray

rayg You've got poor ground, a bad connection from the battery to the solenoid or from the solenoid to the starter or a starter solenoid relay going out. JR
