Hi everyone. My name is Scott. I am very interested in converting my Chinese scooter into a trike. My only issue is to get a local differential axle. Has anyone one got drawings or specs for me to build an axle or to try import one? Thanks.

The kits that are available will be less expensive than trying to gather all the parts neccesary to pull off the conversion,,lots of mounting plates and radius rods/ arms,,and also finding a small enough rearend scalewise will be a real problem,,,i would see if you can find a trike on craigslist with a blown mill,,,or a wreck to canibalize the parts from,,,unless of course you have lots of metal working tools,,,(ie welder/grinder/cutters/ect) ,,,not trying to put you off the project ,,it's not like it can't be done,,,it depends on your skills and tooling,,, there are solid and independant versions of scooter trike rearends,,,the hardest part of it all is getting a correct scale rearend,,,,Oh welcome to the forum
