Found this forum trying to fix my frustration! bought me a Lance duke 250 and I can not shut off the lights? the switch isnt working... how do I fix this? thanks in advance! first time scooter/bike owner!!

and shopping for accessories on amazon I cant find lance under the make/model of scooters? what is its closest match or where can I shop for them?

The diode is probably bad. It is supposed to allow current to flow only one way. When it is bad it allows current to flow the other direction so you can't turn your headlights off when the engine isn't running.

Welcome to the forum steven250--you didn't mention if the lights go off when you turn the key off--most of our scoots must have lights on while running so most of the scoots are not made to have an off switch,only a dimmer switch--it the lights stay on all the time with the key off,then gatekeeper may be on to something--goodluck- fflintstone
