A time ago all of the forums had a photo attachment button that allowed you to grab a photo from your computer, desktop or hard drive. When PB converted to the new V5 software they allowed this button but quit hosting the photos for free thus making it unusable and unaffordable to the forum. I have been working on a modification that in it's way does what the old attachment feature of the old software did. Thanks to Rich (Bashan) from Scooter Doc for making this how to use thread with photos for this feature. JR has come up with a nifty way to post pictures. First you use the quick reply panel and click on insert image:
Then click the browse button:
Navigate to the folder where the picture is that you want to upload. Select the picture and click open:
You can choose to resize it if you wish:
Then click upload:
And the code will appear:
Click the quick reply button and the picture will appear:
Also you can insert as many photos as you want with this on a post by just continuing to click on the Insert Image Button
I just upgraded this to include the Normal Reply area as well, the button is right by the Create Post button and this can also be used when you are creating a new thread.

Also take note, when you post a picture using this it will be the size on your post as the image below but if you put your cursor hand on the picture and click it will reset to the size you chose when you were sizing it. Nice thing about this if one was taking a close up of a problem say on their engine and chose a large image so people could see it easily it would in fact show that size when clicked on but not be too big for the forum post. Click on this lovely picture below for a sample. This is my granddaughter at bat this past summer at the Softball World Series. Also this WILL NOT work for videos, images only!

Thanks JR--Lily Mae is a nice dog-- a long hair Dachshund, she loves everybody--so sweet--I am thinking of taking her into the nursing homes to cheer up the old folks--she likes to go into the store with me and everyone wants to pet her--it will take me 30 minutes to get to the other end of Walmart store because we have to stop and get petted by all the dog lovers -- so--we got her registered as a service dog,so we can take her in places with us.

I now have a Insert Image in the Normal Reply posting area that can also be used when creating a new thread. It's located right by the Create Post Button.
