I am having some issues getting my back tire to drop so I can bolt in the shocks on the back tire. I have put the scooter on the middle kick stand and the vehicle is raised. I noticed on the set up video, it showed one guy holding the air intake on the left side and the other guy holding the muffler and then the back wheel just came down. Any ideas on how to get this tire down?

I'm trying to understand what you are asking? Have you removed the wheel/engine assembly from the scooter and now putting it back in? JR

No. I just got the scooter off the crate. One of the necessary preparations is to bolt in the rear shocks.
There is a link to the Tao Tao video about putting together CY150. If you go to about 2:30 in, you'll see them both holding the rear of the bike and then the back wheel drops. I can't figure out how they got it to drop.

Did you look to see if something is holding it up? Like a plastic tie? Or some wire? They may have omitted the part where they had to cut something or unbolt something to make it drop. Under the fender perhaps.
