That is a HELIX 244cc VERTICAL MOTOR. See the valve adjusters on the right side by the side of the Valve cover. Alleyoop

Thanks alleyoop! Can you recommend a replacement cartridge style inline fuel filter? I saw on line that one person suggested the one sold by Ace Hardware.........appreciate all the great and prompt responses from this forum.....absolutely amazing for a novice like me!

Does yours already HAVE an in-line fuel filter, as suggested by the word "replacement"? Best I can recall my 2011 Roketa does not. In any case, all the auto stores sell a wide variety of small in-line fuel filters, you just need to get one that will fit your fuel line -- the tubes at both ends of the filter come in several sizes. Which brings to mind, if you still have the factory fuel lines, this might be a good time to replace them with good ol' made-in-USA quality.

OK.........could this be part of my problem? The kinked fuel line at my fuel pump? I am planning to change out all of the fuel lines and will make sure I have a nice wide sweeping bend at this connection. I haven't traced this line out yet but it looks like the supply up to the engine or could it be a vent?

Mine did similar, my antifreeze was extremely low, so it wouldn't turn over much, and the fuse that's next to the battery, that kept getting loose where it wouldn't let it start also.... Any issues I have I always ch antifreeze n fuse 1st....

That was a good find....ya see...you didn't really need any help.....just needed to look things over This, is a good example of why a comprehensive PDI is so important. Keep poking around...you might find a couple of more items in need of attention.
