Good day all,
I need a little help, I have a 2005 Jonway Spray 125cc that runs like a dream and never gave me any problems. But now she seems to have a little problem mostly when I try to accelerate after stopping at a intersection, or had to slow down in traffic. She cuts out and at times she starts on her own again other time she gust don't I have to push the starter a few times be for she takes. I replaced the fuel filter and the vacuum pipe to the pump. The pump is working fine and gas is flowing good. If she cuts out at times she don't wish to start I disconnect the vacuum pipe from the pump and then she starts fine but then need to put the pipe back quickly be for the carburetor runs out of gas or sucks to much air thru the pipe and chocks. the only thing I didn't do was to check the air filter and carburetor.
Thanks

Have you adjusted the valves lately? If not do that first. Also look at that vacuum hose and see if it is wet from FUEL. If it is wet from fuel then the FUEL PUMP( IF gas tank is lower than the CARB) or PETCOCK( If gas tank is higher than the CARB) is leaking and needs to be replaced IF DRY then check the Air Filter it could be very dirty and not allowing enough air to match the amount of fuel. Also check your plug it could be very fouled and not firing good only at higher rpms. Also check your ENRICHER it may not be shutting off the extra fuel after it warms up and it is running very rich allowing extra fuel all the time which would cause flooding at low rpms like when your stopping. That's not a fuel pump, it's a fuel valve. Alley is spot on as usual, do the valve thing and check the vac line for gas. The diaphragm at the valve starts to leak and gas runs down into the intake manifold. Boom, you're too rich and it runs like crap. I lose the vac valves for manual valves, they don't fail unless you forget to turn them on.....then you soon find out.
